
How I Work
Many people come to me with a very specific feeling:
“I see and understand my patterns… but I can’t seem to change them.”

Why understanding is not enough
Understanding brings clarity, but often, it’s not enough to create real change.
That's because many of the patterns we experience are not created only by thoughts, but by the nervous system. And the nervous system does not understand verbal language; it only understands somatic language.
And as long as the body doesn’t feel safe,
We tend to repeat the same patterns.
The role of the body
The body holds our history.
Past experiences, especially difficult ones, leave an imprint on the nervous system.
This can keep the body in states of alert, tension, or disconnection, even when we rationally know we are safe.
That’s why this work includes the body.
To help it feel safe again.
Inner parts
We all have different parts within us.
Parts that push, that fear, that people-please, that shut down…
These parts are not the problem. They are protective responses that once made sense for keeping us safe and ensuring our survival.
And once we learn to listen and understand them, they no longer need to act with such intensity.
What happens in a session
Sessions are 60 minutes long, and they are a calm and safe space where you can bring whatever you’re experiencing.
There’s nothing you need to “do right”.
I support you in:
— putting words to your experience
— noticing what’s happening in your body
— listening to the parts that arise
— gently regulating your system (through parts-work or by incorporating some somatic exercises)
— and coming up with gentle steps that move you forward, always at your own pace
Both online and in-person sessions work well, so you can choose whichever modality best suits your needs or preferences.

It is common to notice changes from the first session. However, the body needs time to learn a new language. That is why I recommend a minimum of 4 sessions, so that the change not only appears, but stays.
